This Venus Transit occurs four times in every 243 Years. The previous transits happened in 1631,1639,1761,1769,1874,1882,and 2004.

The first observation of Venus Transit was made by Jeremiah Horrocks,a British Astronomer on 4th December 1639. Next Transit in 2117 and 2125.

on 6th June 2012 this Transit will be visible to most of China,Australia,Russia, Europe,Israel,Africa and Asia.In North America you can see this on 5th June evening itself.
