This is the latest information letting you know, TCP/IP Transport Layers.The TCP/IP Protocol suite includes 2 transport layers, called User datagram protocol and transmission control protocol. Although these are both transport layers and the primary responsibility is to deliver packets between processes (not just between end-systems), these transport layers provide very different types of service.
